Exilis is our gentle radio frequency and ultrasound treatment that reduces fine lines and wrinkles and tightens skin on the face and body.
Exilis works by using controlled heating and cooling to ensure that radio frequency and ultrasound energies are delivered to various depths in the tissue of the area we are treating. This triggers a natural response for your skin to create new collagen. These new collagen fibers are tight, dense, and neatly organized, giving you tighter, younger-looking skin!
Most patients describe the sensation of the therapy as being comparable to that of a pain-free, hot stone massage. You can lie down and relax during the procedure.
After the treatment, there is usually only slight redness of the treated area. This redness will generally disappear soon after. You will be able to return to your daily activities immediately following the treatment.
The optimal number of treatments can vary; however, during your consultation, our Exilis specialist will be able to create a plan based on your specific goals.
Most people need 4 sessions which are done every week for a month. Patients will continue to see improvement over the next few months with maximum results at around 12 weeks from the last treatment.
Most treatment times are under 30 minutes. Small areas are less than 15 minutes total.
