BOTOX® is a neuromodulator that blocks the connection between nerve and muscle fibers, causing the muscles to relax. During a BOTOX® treatment, several superficial injection sites that are predetermined based on an exam for facial wrinkles will be given small doses of Botox to relax the areas causing the wrinkles.

BOTOX® can cause mild headache and allergic reactions are possible but rare. You can also become used to the medication over time and require more.

Sit upright for about six hours and don’t exercise for one day. Avoid rubbing any treated area for one day to prevent spreading the medication to unwanted areas of the face.

We always recheck your treated areas in two weeks and make adjustments as needed.

For most people, a BOTOX® treatment will last for approximately three months.
